These Terms and Conditions govern the rights and obligations between ELOK s.r.o. as the Seller and customers during the sale of goods through the online store www.elok.cz.

2. Definition of Terms

  • Buyer - Consumer: a natural person acting outside the scope of business activity
  • Buyer Entrepreneur: a person acting within the scope of business activity
  • Contract: a purchase contract concluded by means of distance communication

3. Information about Goods

The goods sold consist of electronic and electrotechnical components intended primarily for professional use.

The Buyer acknowledges that some components are ESD sensitive. Improper handling may lead to their degradation. The Seller is not liable for damages caused by incorrect application.

4. Order and Conclusion of the Contract

The purchase contract is formed upon confirmation of the order by the Seller. The Seller reserves the right to refuse an order (e.g., in the event of an obvious pricing error).

5. Price and Payment Terms

  • Prices are quoted inclusive of VAT
  • Payment methods: bank transfer, online payment
  • Payment is due prior to the dispatch of the goods

6. Shipping and Delivery

  • The delivery period is usually 1-5 business days.
  • For consumers, the risk of damage passes upon receipt of the goods.
  • The Buyer is obliged to inspect the shipment upon receipt.

7. Withdrawal from the Contract (Consumer)

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days. Withdrawal is not possible for:

  • goods customized to the consumer's requirements
  • unpacked ESD sensitive components where the protective packaging has been breached

The Seller shall refund the funds within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

8. Rights from Defective Performance (Complaints)

Rights arising from defective performance are governed by the Civil Code. Details are provided in the separate Complaints Procedure.

9. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution

The consumer has the right to contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz).

10. Personal Data Protection

Personal data are processed in accordance with the GDPR.

11. Final Provisions

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
